Survivor Skills
Learning New Skills
Your character can choose to purchase more skills or improve existing ones. All characters get a new skill slot after increasing a certain number of levels. Improving a skill will take a skill slot, for example if a character has 2 skill slots they can have two level 1 skills or one level 2 skill.
Level 1: 2 skills
Level 2: 3 skills
Level 3: 4 Skills
Level 4: 5 Skills
Level 5: 6 Skills
Level 6: 7 Skills
Level 7: 8 Skills
Level 8: 9 Skills
Level 9: 10 Skills
Level 10: 12 skills
Blind Shooting:This skill allows the character shoot at a target without being able to see it; it is typically used when the character is in darkness or when the target is outside the range of his sight. The character must be able to hear the target so that its position can be evaluated.
Blind Shooting level 1
- Shoot from behind cover with Pistol
Blind Shooting level 2
- Shoot in dark with Pistol
- Shoot from behind cover with Pistol, Machine Gun or Shotgun
Blind Shooting level 3
- Shoot in dark with Pistol, Machine Gun or Shotgun
- Shoot from behind cover with Pistol, Machine Gun or Shotgun
- Shoot through doors or thin walls after sensing position of creatures on the other side
Medic: This is the ability to treat wounds among surviving humans.
Medic level 1
- Treat light wounds
- Resuscitate unconscious human
Medic level 2
- Treat light wounds
- Treat moderate wounds
- Resuscitate unconscious human
- Set broken bones
Medic level 3
- Treat light wounds
- Treat moderate wounds
- Treat deadly wounds
- Resuscitate unconscious human
- Set broken bones
Military Tactics:This skill allows a character to move in ways that others don’t, using tactical movements and becoming more proficient in weapons.
Military Tactics level 1
- Can use a knife and pistol at the same time
Military Tactics level 2
- Can use a knife and pistol at the same time
- Can use two pistols at the same time
Military Tactics level 3
- Can use a knife and pistol at the same time
- Can use any two one-handed firearm at the same time
- 3 attachments can be equipped to weapons
Stealth: This skill allows a character to move silently and stay hidden from most creatures found throughout the city.
Stealth level 1
- Can hide in shadows
- Can steady breathing so it is harder to hear
Stealth level 2
- Can hide in shadows
- Can steady breathing so it is harder to hear
- Pick Pocket – steal from zombies and skeletons (Beast Master Account chooses if you succeed and what you receive.)
Stealth level 3
- Can hide in shadows
- Can steady breathing so it is harder to hear
- Pick Pocket – steal from zombies, skeletons, werewolves and vampires (Beast Master Account chooses if you succeed and what you receive.)
- Can move almost silently
- Stealth kills (quickly and silently dispose of an enemy from behind, must not be detected by that enemy or others in the area)
Acrobatics:Using this skill allows the character to tumble, leap gracefully, and use other gymnastic skills.
Acrobatics level 1
- Can jump higher and further than most humans
- Can run faster than most humans
Acrobatics level 2
- Can jump higher and further than most humans
- Can run faster than most humans
- Can climb higher and faster than most humans
- Can drop from a great height without hurting themselves
Acrobatics level 3
- Can jump higher and further than most humans
- Can run faster than most humans
- Can climb higher and faster than most humans
- Can drop from a great height without hurting themselves
- Can dodge attacks more efficiently using their acrobatic skills
Mechanic:Using knowledge of how things work and fit together the character can make and repair items for themselves and other survivors.
Mechanic level 1
- Repair weaponry
- Make small, simple traps with household items or equipment
Mechanic level 2
- Repair weaponry
- Make small, simple traps with household items or equipment
- Make larger, more complicated traps with household items or equipment
- Make weapons with household items (e.g. bottle + gasoline + rag + lighter = Molotov Cocktail)
Mechanic level 3
- Repair weaponry
- Make small, simple traps with household items or equipment
- Make larger, more complicated traps with household items or equipment
- Make weapons with household items (e.g. bottle + gasoline + rag + lighter = Molotov Cocktail)
- Can customise equipment with new parts
Survivor: This skill is built from the experience of a character's survival, learning how to hunt and check their surroundings.
Survivor level 1
- Tracking – can follow footprints of creatures and humans
Survivor level 2
- Tracking – can follow footprints of creatures and humans
- Can use two melee weapons at once (excludes Rapier, Katana and Chainsaw)
Survivor level 3
- Tracking – can follow footprints of creatures and humans
- Can use two melee weapons at once (excludes Chainsaw)
- Detect surroundings – tell if a creature is or has been nearby
Sharp Shooter: This skill is a greater accuracy with firearms. (can only be used with one weapon that is chosen when skill is purchased)
Sharp Shooter level 1
- Focused Shot – 1 instant hit (one use per RP)
Sharp Shooter level 2
- Focused Shot – 2 instant hit shots using both shots on 1 or 2 targets (one use per RP)
Sharp Shooter level 3
- Focused Shot – 3 instant hit shots using all 3 shots on 1 to 3 targets (one use per RP)
